The advanced driving assistance system analyzes the driving environment and detects potential risks, preventing accidents in advance. By assisting the driver with acceleration, braking, and steering, the Electrified GV70 allows for a stress-free, comfortable drive in all road conditions.

The system warns and assists in braking if the preceding car suddenly slows. It is also activated if there is a high risk of a front-end collision due to stopped cars or the sudden appearance of pedestrians or cyclists. Braking assistance is also applied when the risk of collision with an oncoming car is detected when turning left at an intersection.

BCA is reinforced with a new function that assists through differential braking when the risk of collision is with a car in a blind spot during lane changes. The system is also active while parallel parking, for instance, braking when the car is moving forward, and there is a risk of a rear-side collision with oncoming traffic.

PCA-R prevents the car from colliding with pedestrians or nearby obstacles in the rear. It is active when the driver parks the car or exits a parking spot, as well as when the car is traveling at low speed. The system works by warning the driver and, if necessary, controlling the brakes.

When the car is stopped, a radar detects cars or motorcycles approaching from the blind spot. It also keeps the child locks activated on the rear seats to ensure safety when leaving the car. Even if all the doors are unlocked, the driver is warned to help passengers exit safely.

When the system detects a risk of collision with an oncoming car while reversing, a warning will be displayed along with a beeping sound. If the risk of collision increases after this initial warning, the system will automatically activate the brakes.

When pulling in or out of a parking space, the system enables automated steering and speed control. The Genesis Smart Key can also be used to control the car remotely.
