INTRODUCING THE GENESIS X SPEEDIUM COUPE CONCEPT
The Genesis X Speedium Coupe was born out of a "freestyle" design exercise based on the Genesis X Concept. It inherits the timeless Genesis' design philosophy of "Athletic Elegance" and expands on it in an even more progressive way.The Genesis X Speedium Coupe was born out of a "freestyle" design exercise based on the Genesis X Concept. This car is an open-door moment in Genesis’ journey towards our future EV design. This isn’t a show car — it’s a look into our design processes as we explore ideas for the next wave of EVs, one that incorporates Genesis’ DNA.

The concept's metallic emerald green shade is called "Inje Green". It's inspired by the mountainous landscape surrounding the famous Speedium racetrack in Korea. The overall impression is of a classic car that embodies dynamism, speed and timeless elegance.
EXTERIOR
The Genesis’ signature Two Line lamps have been extended to full-width. This design element reimagines the iconic Genesis Crest Grille for the electric era. It symbolizes Genesis' commitment to becoming an all-electric car brand. Customers can expect a fully electric six-model line-up by 2030.
EXTERIOR
The Parabolic Line extending from the front to the rear maintains a certain tension, a hallmark of classic cars. The deliberate “anti-wedge” design creates a streamlined look that exudes an understated elegance.
EXTERIOR
An elliptical tail balances out the look for a visually engaging tension between convex and concave surfaces in the rear. The V-shaped brake lights only serve to heighten this sense of contrast, creating the arresting visual impact that is the hallmark of a Genesis vehicle.
REDUCTIVE DESIGN
The Genesis X Speedium Coupe was designed following the principles of reductive, or “less is more” design. Its restrained elegance, clean lines, and subtle curves are exactly what make it stand out.The Genesis X Speedium Coupe was designed following the principles of reductive, or “less is more” design. The daytime running lamps are integrated with the low beams, high beams and turn signals. Genesis reimagines the Wing Face for the electrification era.
The hourglass silhouette highlights the car’s passionate character. Sensuous curves accentuate the wheel arches, evoking a muscular presence.
